Divine Acceleration: How to Experience Your 10-in-1 Season

Ps Larry Elliot preaches on Divine Acceleration

There is a tangible sense of Divine Acceleration currently humming through the atmosphere at 3C South Coast. We are three years into a fresh season of discipleship, and when we look back, we can only say, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23). Recently, across our campuses, we have seen over 650 people in attendance, with nearly 1,000 joining us online. Even more exciting is the spiritual harvest: in April alone, we witnessed more than 30 first-time salvations.

Our community impact continues to grow as we feed 40 children daily through our crèche and distribute dozens of food parcels to those in need. But while we celebrate these victories, God has made it clear that He is not finished yet. As Pastor Larry Elliott shared in his recent message, “Accelerate,” God is inviting every believer into a season of Divine Acceleration.

God orders your steps

Understanding the 10-in-1 Promise

What does “Divine Acceleration” actually mean? It is the “10-in-1” season God promised our house — the supernatural ability of God to do in one year what would normally take ten. It is a fast-tracking of your harvest.

Pastor Larry and Pastor Mandy recently experienced this firsthand in their personal lives. After two years of a situation appearing completely stalled, God turned everything around in a single week. That is the power of our supernatural God. As Ephesians 3:20 (TPT) reminds us, Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all of this.

“He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination!”

Step 1: Trusting the Steps and the Stops

The first principle of acceleration is understanding that “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way” (Psalm 37:23). However, we must also realise that God is in control of our stops.

If your life feels paused or you feel like you aren’t moving forward, do not panic. Sometimes God pauses our progress to build character or to strip away things that shouldn’t be there.

As Pastor Larry noted, “God knows you’re human… He knows where you need to be and who you need to be to be where you need to be.” Trusting God for acceleration means trusting His timing in the pauses just as much as in the progress.

Step 2: Guarding Your Words

You can actually prolong a dry season or slow down your harvest through your own mouth. Complaining, unbelief, and negativity act like a “flat tyre” on your journey to success. The Israelites limited the Holy One of Israel because they did not remember His power and chose to grumble instead. Psalm 78:41 warns us that “Yes, again and again they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.”

In this season of acceleration, align your words with God’s promises. If you know to do good, just do it — don’t over-spiritualise or wait for “holy goosebumps.” Action and positive confession keep the momentum moving.

Are you a flat tire?

Step 3: The “Immediately” Factor

When Jesus gets into your boat, the destination changes instantly. In John 6:21, the disciples were rowing hard against a storm, but as soon as they received Jesus into the boat, “immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.”

God can bypass the natural laws of time and effort. Whether it was Elisha multiplying oil, Jesus multiplying bread, or the prophecy in Amos 9:13 which says, “Behold, the days are coming… when the plowman will overtake the reaper,” scripture is full of “suddenlys.” Do not limit what God can do for you just because the “natural” timeline says it should take longer.

Step 4: Preparing for Divine Labourers

When it is your time for harvest, God will shift the atmosphere and send the right people into your life. Matthew 9:37-38 tells us that “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” As we pray for acceleration, we must also pray for God to send labourers into our businesses, our families, and our church.

At 3C South Coast, we live by the mandate: “Every Believer a Leader, Every Leader a Soul Winner”. Acceleration isn’t just about personal gain; it’s about being equipped to reach the lost and make disciples of all nations.

Step 5: Putting “Super” on the Natural

A central theme of this season is that “God takes your natural efforts and adds His ‘super’ to create a supernatural outcome.” This is the anointing that makes the difference. As Acts 10:38 declares, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good… for God was with Him.”

Think of the palm tree mentioned in Psalm 92:12: “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree.” It bends but doesn’t break in storms, it thrives in harsh environments, and it continues to produce fruit even in old age. That is the picture of a believer in a season of divine acceleration. You may have been shaken, but you are still standing. God is designed to make you flourish regardless of the environment.

For Our Cell Leaders: Doing Life Together

Cell leaders, as you meet this week, focus on the “10-in-1” testimonies within your groups.

  • Discuss: Where do you need God to put His “super” on your “natural” right now?
  • Scripture Focus: Read Psalm 84:11 together — “For the Lord God is a sun and a shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
  • Action: Identify any “flat tyre” conversations (complaining/unbelief) and replace them with declarations of faith.
  • Prayer: Pray specifically for the Encounter Weekend on 22 and 23 May. This is a vital time for inner healing, deliverance, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit for every member.

Acceleration

We are heading in a direction that we believe God has ordained and inspired. Whether it’s joining the Men’s Coffee Club this Tuesday at 5:00 AM or registering for the upcoming Encounter Weekend, there is a place for you to plug in and accelerate.

Don’t just watch from the sidelines — put your foot on the gas!

Your 10-in-1 season is here, and your flourishing is just beginning.

As Pastor Larry concluded: “What God does in your life is not just so you can say ‘look what God has done,’ it’s so you can glorify God and testify of His goodness.”
